Habitat for Humanity Announces Date for 2018 "Hammers and High Heels" Women Build Fundraiser
Habitat for Humanity of Williamson and Maury Counties (HFHWM) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and ecumenical Christian ministry that works with low-income families and donors to build simple, decent homes and sell them with no profit and no interest. HFHWM was fully incorporated as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International on December 5, 1992. Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity has grown from a grassroots effort that began on a community farm in southern Georgia in 1976 to a global nonprofit housing organization in nearly 1,400 communities across the United States and in over seventy countries. People partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
