Tournament to be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Hillwood Country Club

NFL veteran, Super Bowl Champion and CBS Sports Network College Football Analyst, Kevin Carter to host the Mercedes-Benz of Music City Dealer Championship golf tournament at Hillwood Country Club on Monday, September 17th with registration at 10:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Kevin Carter Foundation and Make A Wish Middle Tennessee, which raises funds to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. In addition, Carter will make his debut this season with CBS Sports Network as an in-studio College Football Analyst starting this Saturday, August 25 at 7:30 PM EST for the Hawaii vs. Colorado State game.
“I continue to be humbled by the incredible generosity and support the Nashville community has shown me for nearly 20 years,” said Kevin Carter. “Based on the success of my annual Waiting for Wishes Celebrity Waiters Dinner, we decided to create a second event to benefit my foundation and Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. I invite area golfers to join me and some of my celebrity friends for a day of golf to benefit these two worthwhile organizations.”
The Mercedes-Benz of Music City Dealer Championship tournament will be played on Hillwood Country Club’s 18-hole, par 72 golf course designed by legendary golf architect Dick Wilson.
The tournament will be played as a four-man scramble and individual participants will be paired with other individuals or twosomes. The winning team will then compete in a putting contest to determine the top two players who will advance to the National Final held at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las,Colinas, TX. Winners of the National Final will advance to the 2019 Mercedes Trophy World Final in Germany where they will compete as Team USA. Golf foursomes are $2,000 and individual golf spots are $500. Sponsorships are also available.

  1. Visited there last weekend with a group of friends, and had all the fun we could handle. I really like the ambiance at Chicago venues here. There's a decent draft beer selection at a reasonable price and the bartenders are good at what they do.
